COURSE DESCRIPTION:
Students will learn the knowledge and skills essential for participation in lifetime activities. The physical education course will provide opportunities for students to gain knowledge, enhance physical health and fitness levels, develop motor and social skills, and acquire habits which promote a healthy life style. In addition, the student through team sports will learn the importance of being responsible, committed, and hardworking. Moreover, the students will learn to be competitive, demonstrate good sportsmanship, and good overall character which will prepare them for the next level. |
P.E. Days6th Grade
Wednesday - 1:50 pm - 2:50 pm *Will change into their P.E. clothes when done eating lunch. 7th Grade Tuesday - 1:50 pm - 2:50 pm *Will change into their P.E. clothes when done eating lunch. 8th Grade Friday - 11:00 am - 12:00 pm *Will change for P.E. at 11:00 am. |
Uniform-P.E. starts first week of school.
-Students will come to school wearing regular school uniform and will change into P.E. clothes later in the day. -P.E. uniform consist of grey P.E. shirt and red P.E. shorts. -Students must wear complete P.E. uniform with solid black or white rubber shoes. -Failure to wear complete P.E. uniform will result in loss of daily uniform points. Partial uniforms are not accepted. |
Grading- Daily Criteria
-Complete Uniform – 50 points -Behavior - 25 points -Participation - 25 points Total = 100 points daily max -Subject: A = 93 – 100% B+ = 90 – 92% B = 87 – 89% B- = 85 – 86% C+ = 80 – 84% C = 75 – 79% C- = 70 – 74% D = 65 – 69% D- = 60 – 64% -Work Habits/Behavior: O = Outstanding G = Very Good S = Satisfactory U = Unsatisfactory NI = Needs Improvement -Skills: + = Area of Strength √ = Area for Improvement |
